A Scheduler screen ‘View’ allows users to set up custom views with selected hierarchies and filters.

Note: In order to being able to create a new View, users need the ‘Scheduler’ role. Any created views are visible to all Scheduler users, therefore it is recommended to select a distinct, clear name.

Setting-up a view

1.Open the Scheduler Screen, click on ‘Manage Views’ then click on ‘Add View’.

2.Enter a new name for the view and start selecting the Hierarchy. The hierarchy determines by which entity the displayed tasks will be sorted, e.g. by their location, by their Process, etc.

3.If required, you can select several hierarchies, e.g. order the task by location, and then by priority.

4.Select if you would like to filter the displayed tasks on the view. You can select several filters.

5.Click ‘Save’.

6.The newly created view will automatically be registered as ‘Favorites’. You can drag it to the ‘Views’ list or drag other views into the ‘Favorites’ section depending on preference. Views included in the ‘Favorites’ will show up as your first list of views. Clicking more will display all the other views.

Examples of views that can be created in the Scheduler Screen:

  • Tasks filtered out based on task types (to only show certain task types). For example: To only display break-in tasks.

  • Tasks organise based on location (to identify interactions or overlaps).

  • Tasks filtered out based on a tag. For example: Not completed or Rejected tasks for schedulers to easily view and reschedule the tasks.

Editing a view

You can edit any Scheduler Views at any time. To do so, select the required View from the drop-down list, right click on ‘Edit’ and make any changes required and 'Save'.

If wanted to delete the view, click 'Delete' in the options.
