Tags can be used in CiteOps with different purposes:
To highlight tasks information. For example: information related to Safety (Tag: High risk job) or Statutory matters (Tag: Deputy required) or information that can impact in the task completion (Tag: Drops Power).
To promote certain behaviours related to the usage of the system. For example: to remind users that location or resources assigned must be added to the tasks. In this case a task can be automatically added to a schedule task that doesn´t have a location or resources assigned.
To create specific Gantts views in the Scheduler Screen in which only tasks with (or without) certain tags are shown. For example: Schedulers can have a view that only displays not completed or rejected tasks (as automated tags are displayed in tasks when close out under 100% or rejected by the executing department).
There are three ways to add tags to a task/location:
Manually: Tags can be manually added to specific tasks or locations by selecting (or typing for ad hoc tags) the tag in the tag field.
Auto-tags: rules for tags to be automatically added to tasks can be also created.
To create auto tags, please contact Commit Works Support team and specify the tag and conditions in which the tag should trigger.
Through Smart Imports: when importing tasks or locations via a Smart Import, a specific column to include tags can be added.
