How to Manage Departments?

Departments are a group of CiteOps Processes. Each Process belongs to one department.

Certain screens offer a department view that only shows the plan for the processes within the selected department e.g. for a department planning meeting.


Add Department

1. To add a department, head to the Manage screen and click on ‘Departments’.

2. Click 'Add Department'.

3. Enter the Name and Short code of the department and tick the task types to be enabled for the department. All processes that belong to the department will use the ticked task types.

Tip: Task types are enabled for the processes at the department level.
When creating a new task type, then the task type must be enabled for the corresponding process through the Department.

Important Note: Do not delete a department which still has active Processes.
