CiteOps 25.5 Release Announcement
The latest release of CiteOps, version 25.5, is now available. This fully hosted and cloud-native operations planning, and execution platform introduces a powerful new availability capability in the Equipment Schedule. Operations and maintenance supervisors can now easily identify equipment that needs to be delivered to maintenance or allocated to operational tasks between processes.
The enhanced equipment schedule view reflects actual equipment requirements. CiteOps users can add, delete or modify tasks appropriately to align with available equipment. This release enables tighter integration through multi-user functionality, supporting more robust planning for operations and maintenance scheduling.
In addition to this major update, version 25.5 delivers several enhancements and bug fixes, as well as user experience and performance improvements. The crowning feature remains the improved Equipment Schedule.
This release of CiteOps 25.5 builds on existing shift-by-shift availability tracking. Planners can view equipment availability by shift, week and beyond. The Scheduler incorporates fit-for-purpose information that combines availability with planned task information. Onsite schedulers can easily visualise capacity to inform better operational planning and execution.
What’s New and Why It Matters
The enhanced Equipment Schedule modernises CiteOps’ underlying technology infrastructure
Increasingly, mining and metals operations need to plan operations based on available resources and adjust resource plans in response to real-time operational demands. CiteOps 25.5 ensures optimal resource utilisation through a pro-active and unified approach to resource planning availability.
This improved capability helps operations and maintenance teams collaborate more effectively and integrate equipment and schedules seamlessly. Multi-user capability facilitates easy access to critical detail about equipment to support reliable, informed planning.
Operations and maintenance teams can now collaborate digitally and in real time, while integrating availability schedules with through the industry-leading, online multi-user Scheduler. CiteOps 25.5 fully integrates availability and execution workflows to ensure ideal resource planning and allocation.
An Improved View on the Equipment Schedule Screen
Multi-user capability is introduced for the first time to support a truly integrated and collaborative planning workflow. Schedulers can view all equipment to determine current and future availability. This information informs tasks or equipment adjustments to deliver on planned activity.
• Multi-user Capability: supports integrated planning across processes.
• Search and Filter: easily find and identify tasks or resources.
• Real-time Data Update: eliminates manual saving for greater data integrity and reliability.
• Multi-directional Synchronisation: data flows freely between Shift Schedule and Equipment Schedule.
• Bulk Updates: easy equipment location and allocated process updates.
• Column Configuration: intuitive and easily accessible via the menu.
• Time Navigation: supports customisable time period display (e.g. 24/48 hour, or 1 week).
The New Scheduler with Enhanced Capacity Planning
Equipment Kind View provides clear and complete visibility of availability including assigned or unassigned equipment in separate swim lanes with tasks, parking location, utilisation rate, process allocation and other information.
• Add View: allows users to configure a view focused on tasks, equipment availability or location.
• Equipment View: includes equipment-related options such as allocated process, department and equipment type including existing task-related options like assigned resources or location.
• Filters: facilitate configuration of a view based on equipment type, plant number, or default process, or task information.
• Column Customisation: display equipment related information including duration, default process, downtime hours, location, status, type, notes or utilisation rates by column.
• Equipment Allocation: shows process allocation bars with configured information including duration, process, time period and utilisation rate.
• Menu Display: show equipment allocation enabling all information visible on process allocation bars.
User Interface Updates
Equipment Schedule Enhancements
• Permissions and Access: set equipment status and allocate equipment to processes by date and shift.
• Search and Filter: use partial text to deliver results within plant number, type, description or default process. Find equipment with filters on default process(es) or equipment type and quickly clear filters with a button.
• Routine Schedule: renamed from Master Schedule to be more intuitive and familiar.
• Time Period Configuration and Navigation: display and navigate through dates and shifts with easy-to-use toolbar.
• Department and Process Panel: easily update the allocated process for multiple equipment on multiple shifts using control or shift keys and drag-and-drop to assign.
• Updated Menus: easily customise display by filtering, configuring columns, grouping or sorting and applying routine schedule to the selection.
• Equipment Context: update equipment by contextual information e.g. current status, location, notes etc.
• Location Column: filter by location or easily add an unconfigured location.
• Pages and Items Per Page: set the number of displayed equipment per page up to 80 in a single view.
Manage Screen Enhancements
• Equipment Management: consistent equipment search, creation, deletion and import with access controlled by role.
• Multiple Maintenance Processes Configuration: CiteOps Administrators can enable all processes of a department to set the next service date of equipment.
• Process Colour Configuration: CiteOps Administrators can add or edit colours for easy process identification during meetings and resource allocation or capacity examination.
