A task is a work that is assigned to a shift or a process and, as a result, it’s important to specify the required people and equipment needed. Although a task can be a Scheduled Task, a Standard Task or a Planned Task, the resource allocation always requires editing the task. This guide explains how to accomplish this.

Step-By-Step Guide

This guide provides instructions on how to:

  • Allocate Resources to a Scheduled Task

  • Allocate Resources to a Standard Task

  • Allocate Resources to a Planned Task

Follow these steps to specify the resource requirements for a task in CiteOps.

  • Click on the Planning Board icon.

Allocate Resources to a Scheduled Task

1. Right-click on any task of the particular shift and click on Edit Shift Plan.

2. Double click on the Scheduled Task. This opens the Edit Shift Plan Task form.

3. Enter the required resource. Click on Save.

Allocate Resources to a Standard Task

1. Double click on the Standard Task. This opens the Edit Standard Task form.

2. Enter the required resource. Click on Save.

Allocate Resources to a Planned Task

1. Double click on the Planned Task. This opens the Edit Planned Task form.

2. Enter the required resource. Click on Save.
