Summary of changes brought by CiteOps 25.0
Front- & backend changes
The CiteOps 25.0 has been redesigned for on-demand, user journey-driven browser caching, resulting in an uplift of front-end application performance.
New feature Multi-Process Shadow Task
The version includes improvements to our shadow tasks capability, now supporting shadow tasks across multiple processes. Teams can shadow any of their work plans that impact other process groups directly to the relevant shift plans. Tasks can be communicated for information purposes only or can be communicated with a requirement of recipients to accept or reject tasks (with commentary), thus streamlining (and digitizing) the cross-process work management capabilities across all of operations.
API changes
The version includes updates to our WebAPI. If your site has any active integrations using the CiteOps API, please review the attached change overview and update the integrations accordingly. Feel free to contact Commit Works if you require more information.
Database BIPoint changes
As a result of the version improvements, a few tables in the database are affected (fewzion_Tasks_v1, fewzion_StandardTasks_v1, fewzion_PlannedTasks_v1).
Please refer to the attached diagram for the BiPoint changes. Once version 25 is deployed to the Non-Production (Test) environment, your team can review if reports are affected. Please refer to the diagram below for the Bi Point changes.
We recommend clients test any configured views, reports and data sync during the UAT phase to ensure they are still functional, and update any reports where required in time before production deployment
