How to Shadow a Task?

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Double click on the task to shadow to other process/es.

2. In the 'Shadow To' field select the process or multiple processes that needs to shadow the task.

3. Enter the reason why shadowing the task to other process/es.

4. Tick 'This task is only information' if only to inform other processes and doesn't require them to accept/reject the task.

5. Tick 'All selected processes need to accept the task for it to be printed' if requires that all processes should accept the shadow task. If one process rejected the task, the task will not be included in the shift plan and cannot be printed.

Accepting and Rejecting Shadow Tasks

When the task is shadowed, the task will display a black dot and the 'Accept' and 'Reject' options.

More information about the process shadowing and if entered, the reasons can be found by opening the task.

Accept or Reject the task using the corresponding button. When a task is rejected, it's required to enter the reason for rejecting it.
