With the introduction of configurable priorities in v15.1, CiteOps has changed the way it flags Tasks as contingencies.
Previously when the priorities were hardcoded Users would set a Task's priority to 'C' to flagged it as a contingency, however as Sites no longer are required to use 'C' as a priority, CiteOps has implemented a new way of flagging Tasks as contingency work.
This guide will take you through the steps.
Step-By-Step Guide
1. On the Add / Edit Task screen, tick the Contingency checkbox.
2. Click Ok to save the Tasks' Contingency status.
What are the effects of flagging a Task as a contingency?
i. A contingency Task will not be included in the Shift Plans' Required Resources calculation.
ii. Contingency Tasks will be displayed last on the Shift Plans regardless of the priority assigned to it.
Info!
For Sites using the Continency priority "C" it is important to note:
i. Setting "C" will no longer flag a Task as contingency work.
ii. Ticking the Contingency checkbox on a Tasks' Edit screen will not change the Tasks' priority.
