CiteOps Mobile App – New Release Announcement

Six years ago, we launched the first version of our mobile application, designed to digitize the paperbased PLOD and modernise shift planning. Since then, our app has become a key component of how teams plan, execute, and review their daily work. What started as a simple data-entry tool is now a fully integrated solution for real-time operations management.

Today, we are proud to introduce the next generation of the CiteOps mobile experience. This release marks a major milestone in our platform’s evolution. Designed for the demands of modern mining, the app is more flexible, powerful, and user-friendly. Available on Android, iOS, and web, it supports field

teams across every shift, every day. With enhanced features tailored to real-world mining conditions, this update reinforces our commitment to supporting your operational excellence.

What’s New and Why It Matters

Background Syncing

One of the major improvements in this release is real-time background data sync. Now, when the app is running in the background — whether the device is idle, locked, or otherwise in use — data keeps updating automatically. This means supervisors and operators always have the latest plan at their fingertips, without needing to manually refresh or log in again. It’s a smarter, smoother experience that

reduces risk, saves time and keeps teams in sync, shift after shift.

Multi-Platform Availability (iOS, Android & PWA)

For the first time, the CiteOps mobile app is available in three formats: a Progressive Web App (PWA), or native Android and iOS apps. Regardless of device type, teams will enjoy a consistent interface and feature set. Sites can easily adopt the app across a wide range of hardware, reducing training and ensuring smooth shift handovers regardless of device.

Robust Online/Offline Functionality

Mining operations don’t stop when the signal drops — and now, neither does CiteOps. This release offers full offline capabilities across all platforms. Teams can confidently plan, record, and update their work even without connectivity. Once back online, all data syncs automatically and reliably. This ensures continuous data capture across the shift and removes a key barrier to digital adoption in remote or

underground environments.

Extended Single-Sign-On (SSO) with Authorization

We have made login simpler and enhanced our Single-Sign-On functionality to support user authorisation. Now, access can be tailored by role — ensuring each user only sees what they need. This not only improves data security but simplifies user experience. For larger teams with varied responsibilities, it’s an efficient way to manage who sees what and when.

Smarter Task and Location Management

We have made it easier to map work to locations. Now, users can assign work types to all locations, specific locations, or no location at all. This reflects the realities of the field more accurately, especially in complex operations. The result is more accurate reporting, clearer planning and better alignment.

Dark Mode & UI Enhancements

This release offers several user-driven visual and usability improvements. A new dark mode, which reduces eye strain in low-light conditions is perfect for underground or night-shift environments. In addition, tab-based navigation helps users move quickly between planning, task entry, and reports. This ensures a smooth and intuitive experience that keeps teams focused and efficient.

Why This Matters to Your Operation

This release is built with greater reliability and real-time updates. Now, field teams are empowered, decision-making happens faster, shift handovers are smoother, and performance data is captured more accurately. Most importantly, improved flexibility and robustness helps close the gap between plan and execution — a challenge every operation faces.

Whether you are a supervisor leading pre-start, a crew member tracking progress, or a manager reviewing results, the new CiteOps app delivers the right information, at the right time, in the right format.

More Than a New Look — A Strategic Tool for Field Execution

Beyond these new features, the mobile app continues to support a wide range of functionality critical to

daily operations:

• Entry and tracking of task progress and actuals

• Photo and video attachments

• Custom inspections and checklists

• KPIs and variance capture

• Digital shift planning and reporting

Looking Ahead

This release is a foundation for future innovation. With our new technology stack in place, we can deliver new features more often and respond to feedback faster. We are excited about what’s next and are grateful to have you with us on this journey.

Mobile App – Version 2.3 Release

This release delivers powerful tools that empower field teams to plan, collaborate, and act more efficiently. Highlights include a complete overhaul of the mobile planning experience, improved communication through annotations, offline functionality, and a brand-new feature: Plan on the Go. This powerful and practical new feature enables real-time reactive planning from the field.

These features are designed to save time, improve task accuracy, and keep operations running smoothly — no matter where.

New Mobile Planning View – More Control, Better Visibility

We have rebuilt the mobile planning screen to offer a more intuitive, flexible, and powerful way to plan from the field. This brings users closer to information they need and makes it easier to act.

Improved Planning Experience: The redesigned interface makes task management faster and more

intuitive. Information is now organised in tabs, giving users quick access to key task elements. A simpler way to stay on top of the shift.

Multi-Day Navigation: You can now navigate through multiple days of the plan, enabling supervisors and planners to assess workloads over time and make forward looking decisions from the field.

Field personnel can now plan proactively and respond to dynamic operational needs, reducing delays and improving coordination.

Annotations on Tasks – Clearer Communication, Less Ambiguity

With this release, users can now add annotations to tasks directly in the mobile app. This provides a

simple way to communicate crucial details that don’t fit into standard fields.

• Supervisors can clarify task expectations.

Workers can leave notes for planners or follow-up teams.

• Everyone viewing the task gets full context, in one place. Annotations eliminate miscommunication by keeping communication clear and accessible. Teams can complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Offline Planning – Work Anywhere, Anytime

The CiteOps app introduces offline planning capabilities, allowing users to:

• View the full plan

• Add and edit tasks

• Add annotations

No connection? No problem. Field users can continue to plan and document work confidently. Once the device reconnects, updates sync automatically. This ensures uninterrupted productivity, even in remote or low-connectivity areas — a game-changer for mining and heavy industry operations.

Plan on the Go – Smarter Field-Based Planning

This release introduces Plan on the Go. This powerful capability allows users to create, modify, and complete tasks directly in app, enabling true in-field planning and execution. Whether responding to an unplanned event or adjusting priorities mid-shift, supervisors and planners now have the tools they need, right where the work is happening.

With an intuitive interface and easy-to-use configuration tabs, Plan on the Go makes task creation fast and accurate without needing to return to a workstation.

Task Creation Made Simple

Users can now create tasks on the spot using a streamlined set of tabs:

Details Tab: Quickly enter essential information for the task

Required Resources Tab: Assign people or equipment needed to get the job done

Required Skills Tab: Identify relevant skills tied to equipment or task types ensuring safety and compliance while simplifying crew selection using highlights. Additional skills can be manually added where required.

This ensures that tasks are properly scoped and resourced, even when planned outside the office, helping field teams respond quickly to evolving operational needs.

In-Field Planned Task Creation

The app now supports full Planned Task creation in the field, offering greater structure for mid-shift updates or additions. Users can assign locations, equipment, tags, and checklists — providing context and traceability to field-generated tasks. This ensures consistency between planned and reactive work, while

keeping operational records complete.

• Location, Equipment, Tags, Checklist Tabs: Link tasks to specific areas, assets, and checklists, even on

the move.

• Required Resources and Skills Tabs: Match people and skills to planned tasks promoting compliance and rostering efficiency.

This flexibility gives field teams the agility they need without sacrificing structure, compliance or data quality.

Streamlined Task Completion

Once work is done, completing tasks is easier than ever:

• Completion Tab: Pre-populated with expected actuals, allowing users to review and confirm with minimal effort.

• Checklist Tab: Complete associated task and shift checklists directly within task view.

• Attachments Screen: Upload and preview photos or documents to support task validation, condition reporting, or incident capture.

This end-to-end workflow helps teams close out tasks quickly while capturing necessary documentation and evidence to support accurate record-keeping.

Task Deletion on the Go

Plans change and CiteOps keeps up. With this release, planners and schedulers can now delete tasks directly from the mobile app. It’s a quick, easy way to remove unnecessary or outdated tasks. This reduces clutter, avoids confusion, and keeps the shift plan focused on what matters most.

CiteOps Mobile: Consistency and Compliance, Anywhere

The CiteOps mobile app isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a step change in how shift-based operations are planned, executed, and tracked in the field. With smart features like Plan on the Go, real-time background syncing, offline task creation, and in-app annotations, we’ve reimagined operations to meet the realities of modern mining.

Teams will have agility to respond to change, structure to ensure compliance, and visibility to keep everything aligned no matter the device. Whether deep underground, working offline, or managing multiple crews, CiteOps now delivers the right tools, the right data, and the right experience - anytime, anywhere.

The result? Safer operations, faster decisions, and better execution for every shift.
