See link below to our CiteOps Roles and Permissions Matrix:

This article will provide an overview of different user Roles and permissions in CiteOps.

1. Administrator

The Administrator Role allows a User to access all Manage screens and create, delete (or disable) and edit all data available on the manage screens and Roster screen.

Tip 1: Administrator is the one role that can assign roles to other Users.

2. Deputy

The Deputy Role allows a user to access the Actuals screen and also have read-only access to the Roster screen.

Tip 2: For Crew Leaders using the touch screens to enter their actuals, the role is not necessary. The role was created for Users who wished to enter their actuals via the CiteOps Mobile App.

3. Equipment Scheduler

The Equipment Scheduler Role allows a user to access the Equipment Schedule screen and update the Site’s Equipment list (create, delete and edit equipment) and schedule.

4. Human Resources

The Human Role allows a User to access the HR-related Manage Screens and Roster Screen. They have access to add and delete users. On the Manage screen, they’ll only have access to the following Manage screens:

On the Roster screen, HR can edit users details as well as add leave to users.

Tip 4: HR Users can only add and edit leave for users, which they have access to. This is defined by their accessible employers. The ability to manage User leave can also be created as a separate role.

5. Integrations Manager

The Integration Role allows a User to access the Integration Manage Screen, edit and disable existing integrations ("Smart Imports").

Tip 5: For most sites, the Integration Manager can also create new smart import integrations. However, the ability to create new smart imports can be assigned to other roles and it depends on what screens a User has access to.

For More information about Smart Imports, view the below article:

6. Location Manager

Location Manager Role allows a User to access the Location and Process Manage screens.

It allows the user to add, edit and enable locations for processes.

7. Manage Accessible Shift Plan Resources

The manage accessible shift plan notes role provides view access to what is in the Scheduler and Schedules (Shift, Gantt, 24/48, Weekly) screens, but does not have the capability to add or edit tasks.

Tip 7: The user with this role can assign resources to tasks.

8. Planner

The Planner Role allows a user to access and edit their accessible processes, shift plans and task data on the Scheduler, Schedule screens, and Planning Board screen. Planners also have read-only access to Equipment screens and can complete actuals.

Tip 8: In the user profile, administrators can give access to specific processes as required.

9. Scheduler

The Scheduler Role allows a user to access and edit all processes, shift plans and task data on the Scheduler screen, Schedule screens and Planning Board screen.

For more information on creating a scheduler view, view below article:

Schedulers also have read-only access to Equipment screen and can complete actuals.

10. View Tasks

The View Tasks Role provides read-only access to all Schedule screens (Shift, Gantt, 24/48hr, Weekly) and the Scheduler screen. They can view and print all information available on the screens. The role is designed to work with the Deputy role, providing shift leaders access to shift information in real-time, that is unavailable on the Actuals screen.
